Designed with a rounded bull nose tip the Swann-Morton family of Stitch Cutters are ideal for the purpose of cutting modern suture materials whilst minimising patient discomfort. The range consists of the shorter standard stitch cutter with a larger area for grip through the "Midi" to the "Long" allowing for a more aseptic technique by operating further away from the wound site yet also allowing better visibility. This is particularly true of the No.3 fitment or " Baby" Stitch Cutter when used in conjunction with a No.3 Surgical handle.
Standard Stitch Cutters - The traditional carbon steel sterile standard stitch cutter with its rounded bull nose tip which ensures there is no damage to the skin whilst the surgical edge cuts through the suture with minimal resistance.
Midi Stitch Cutters - The Stainless Steel Sterile "midi" Stitch Cutter is ideal for the purpose of cutting modern suture materials whilst reducing patient discomfort.
Surgical Long Stitch - The Long Stitch Cutter allows for a more aseptic techinique by operating further away from the actual wound which also permits better visibility. Supplied stainless steel sterile. Use without a handle.
Surgical Scalpel Blade No.3 Fitment Stitch Cutter - The Stainless Steel No.3 fitment or 'baby' Stitch Cutter is used in conjunction with our No.3 Surgical Handle. It allows for a more aseptic techinique by operating further away from the actual wound which also permits better visibility. Fitment No.3. Fits Handles 3 Graduated, 3L, 5B, 7, 9, B3 and B3L.
