Following the popularity of the SGD sterile single use Disposable Scalpels for circumcision procedures a demand has arisen for the supply of the double edged stainless steel SGD blade to be used in conjunction with the standard Stainless Steel No.3 fitment surgical handle. Feedback suggests the SGD may also work well for a molecular procedure of scraping microscope slides with formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue specimans for DNA and RNA extraction. The blades are provided sterile, individually sealed in foil packs and boxed in units of 20.
