Welch Allyn Braun ThermoScan PRO 6000 Ear Thermometer

Disposable probe‑cover operation — probe cover must be fitted before each reading and a cover change acts as the device reset for the next measurement.
Guided probe placement — directions emphasise a snug insertion aimed toward the opposite temple and holding the probe steady to support consistent in‑ear readings.
Clear readiness signalling — the instrument provides a visual and audible indication when it is ready to take a temperature, helping staff know when to proceed.
Brief waiting guidance — instructions advise waiting approximately 20 seconds after moving the thermometer or in certain situations before measuring, as part of normal operation.
Documentation support — digital display resolution is 0.1 °C/°F to assist with precise recording of measured temperatures.
