Transparent film wound dressing for covering and protecting superficial, low-to-moderately exuding wounds and fixation sites. The dressing uses a thin, conformable polyurethane film backing with an acrylic adhesive to secure it to the skin while allowing clinicians and carers to monitor the wound through the transparent film without removal. The breathable construction permits moisture vapour transmission to help maintain a balanced skin-surface environment during wear. Supplied sterile and intended for single use; rounded corners are incorporated to improve conformability and reduce edge lift during application.
